To create an enabling environment whereby tobacco control activists and other stakeholder in various institutions can work together in a co-ordinated manner, to make a lasting impact in controlling and ending tobacco use in Tanzania. Cancer Awareness Campaigns - Use of media in raising awareness about tobacco use related hazards particularly cancers. Work with Ministry of Health and Social Welfare to promote effective tobacco control policies. Cancer Prevention - Support MHSW to enact an effective tobacco control law. Cancer Research & Publications - Research on the relationship between tobacco use and cancer. Education & Training - Seminars and training workshops to different groups on tobacco related hazards and the need for effective tobacco control.
