The mission of the Samoa Cancer Society is to promote and facilitate the early detection and treatment of cancer and to provide long term and/or terminal cancer sufferers with access to palliative care. Our newly established National Cancer Resource Centre will provide information to cancer sufferers and families:
• Offer counselling services and rehabilitation activities
• Enable health practitioners to consult books and on line research
• Organise village visits to raise awareness of cancer symptoms, diagnosis and treatment
• Promote early detection and screening for cancer
