National Cancer Institute - Vietnam

National Cancer Institute participates in training staff of lower heath service and cancer control levels in diagnosis, treatment, prevention and palliative care in the whole country. By identifying country specific screening methods for most common cancers in Vietnam and developing treatment guidelines for common cancers, the Institute continues to serve as a benefit to the region as a strong health care provider.

The National Cancer Institute of Vietnam is the leading hospital specializing in cancer control, which was established on the basis of Indochina Radium Institute, the most long-standing unit for cancer control in the region.

They provide high quality services in diagnosis and treatment of tumours in order to best serve the Vietnamese people. The institute also participates in building and developing a nationwide network of cancer control.

The National Cancer Institute of Vietnam has been associate member with the UICC since 1994.
