National Cancer Centre, Singapore (NCCS) is a national and regional centre committed to excellence in research, education and clinical services. NCCS adopts a multidisciplinary and holistic approach to cancer treatment. They undertake training and education of medical, radiation and surgical oncologists and other allied health personnel to develop relevant clinical and basic research programmes in the understanding, prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer. The Centre offers a one-stop range of clinical services to patients, conducts clinical and basic research, and develops public cancer information campaigns wholly directed at the prevention and treatment of cancer. In 2001, NCCS became full UICC member.
