Massey Cancer Center
Virginia Commonwealth University Massey Cancer Center is one of just 63 cancer centers out of 1,500 nationwide designated by National Cancer Institute (NCI) to help lead and shape our nation's fight against cancer.
As an NCI-designated center, much of the latest cancer research is developed and available there. Their 500 researchers - 175 of whom are VCU faculty members - seekto bring their discoveries from the laboratories to the bedside as quickly and safely as possible.
They collaborate with other leading cancer centers across the country to ensure that the treatments people in Central Virginia need are close to their homes.
Massey offers more clinical trials than any other cancer centre in Virginia, which in turn enables them to offer more hope and new treatment options to people with all kinds of cancer.
Massey Cancer Center has been full UICC member since 1997.
