This application is your chance to tell us all about your organization and its commitment to cancer control. The more we know about you, the easier and quicker it will be for us to process the application.
Types of membership and eligibility criteria
UICC member organizations fall into two categories:
- Full members
- Associate members
Full member organizations
Annual membership dues: CHF 3,000
- organizations substantially engaged in the campaign against cancer
- directed by a governing body, a number of members of which hold medical or other scientific qualifications normally required in the campaign against cancer and which may include members of the lay public.
- organizations that are either non-governmental, or agencies or institutes operating under the aegis of national or divisional governments
Associate member organizations
Annual membership dues: CHF 1,500
- organizations, institutes, and agencies that, although not necessarily directed by medically or scientifically qualified persons, make a significant contribution to the campaign against cancer
- organizations that are either non-governmental, or agencies or institutes operating under the aegis of national or divisional governments
Dues reduction
Organisations based in Low-income economies can apply for a USD 500 annual membership flat fee. Organisations based in Lower-middle income economies and Upper-middle income economies can apply for a 50% reduction annual membership fee.
Organizations applying for reduced rates are requested to submit the most recent financial report and a motivation letter to membership department at membership@uicc.org. The reduced rate is agreed for one year only and members will have to apply for reduction of fees every year.
How to apply
- Completed application forms may be submitted online.
- Applications for full and associate membership must be accompanied by a copy of:
- the constitution of the applying organization
- the latest annual report
- Incomplete applications cannot be accepted
- Complete applications are referred to the UICC CEO for approval.
- Membership becomes effective after the UICC CEO has approved the application and you have paid the initial annual dues.
Please note that UICC accepts supporting documentation in English, French or Spanish. Documentation in other languages must be translated and submitted in English.
