Jeonbuk Regional Cancer Centre was established in 2008. They currently focus on cancer research, treatment and care, and prevention. In terms of cancer care, there are many options withing the Centre- therapy, surgery, rehabilitation and in terms of cancer prevention, there are all different types of screening, therapies and research being conducted.

Jeonbuk Regional Cancer Centre became full UICC member in July of 2009.
