Japanese Cancer Association (JCA) was founded on April 5, 1941. JCA`s main activities include promoting cancer research and hosting an annual meeting on cancer prevention along with other academic forums (e.g., symposia and meetings, held once or twice a year) along with lectures open to the general public and the publication of a regular newsletter. JCA became UICC full member in 1968.
