The National Cancer Institute is a hospital owned by the public health system of Chile. It is the only public national reference in the specialty oncology meeting in their offices all sub-specialties of this area and the highest level technology available, both public and private, to treat cancer.
The National Cancer Institute has built its portfolio of treatments of Surgical Oncology, Radiotherapy, Chemotherapy and Palliative Care. In the case of external beam radiation it has teams Linear Accelerator (5) and telecobalt (1) and for internal radiotherapy has a team of Brachytherapy High Dose Rate.
