Higashi Sapporo Hospital
Higashi Sapporo Hospital is a cancer specific facility in Japan, which has 243 beds including 58 beds for palliative care. Over 80% of in-patients have cancer who need surgical therapy, chemotherapy, radiation therapy and palliative care. In 2010, 1,100 advanced cancer patients are referred from cancer center, Unversity hospitals, city hospital and general hospitals.
2,000 cases took chemotherapy. 240 cases were treated with radiation therapy.
