Chilean Foundation for the Development of Oncology was founded in 2007 with the objective of promoting and developing activities contributing to the support oncology investigations in the surrounding areas of Chile. Chile

an Foundation for the Development of Oncology cooperates with other organizations in their efforts such as the Chilean Society of Cancer Studies and the Chilean Association of Cancer Patients.

The foundation hopes that their membership with the UICC, which was finalized in February 2009, will contribute to their interest in cancer prevention programs, scholarship and fellowship programs, professional education in oncology, and patient forums.
