Formosa Cancer Foundation (FCF) was founded in 1997.

They believe in the concept that "cancer is preventable" to the general public through various activities. They work to advance the knowledge in early detection, diagnosis and provide educational courses on cancer control and to promote coordinated research efforts in cancer prevention and treatment.

Formosa holds campaigns, rallies, and carnival to further spread the cancer prevention concept to the largest amount of people.

FCF was accepted as full UICC member in 2003.
