The university town of Sétif in north-east Algeria is home of En-Nour association. whose main objective is to build and run the hope lodge for patients of the future regional cancer center.

The association is providing training activities for professionals and volunteers and awareness and prevention programs for the population. En-Nour is collaborating closely with French and Tunisian cancer associations on capacity building for cancer control activities.

En-Nour became an associate member of UICC in march 2007.
