Care Organization Public Enlightenment (C.O.P.E.) was founded in 1995 and fully registered with the corporate affairs commission.

They are a nationwide not-for-profit, non-governmental voluntary health organization whose main concern is to improve awareness of breast cancer and knowledge that is acquired through literacy, education and enhanced reasoning.

If armed with vital information on health issues, the Nigerian people can strive to practice what they have learned. With successful efforts in developing countries, to reduce the number of premature deaths, life expectancy at birth will continue to increase, as will the proportion of birth control surviving ages in which cancer risk is high.

CO.P.E became a UICC associate member in 2006.
