As a registered medical NGO and non-profit charitable organization, Cancer Aid and Research Foundation (CARF) strives endlessly towards the welfare of underprivileged cancer patients, without distinction of caste or religion.

Founded by Professor A.A. Kazi and his like minded colleagues, this foundation provides standard health care at no cost contributing significantly towards bridging the wide gap between government and private sectors working for the cause of the cancer cure.

In the future, CARF plans to complete the construction of the Cancer Diagnostic Centre with a radiotherapy unit, in addition to a cancer hostel and a cancer hospice.

CARF became an associate member of UICC in September 2007.
