The hospital has a department for early detection and awareness that has an outreach program operating in all rural and urban areas of the West Bank (pop. 2.5 million). It also runs the only mobile mammography and breast screening unit in the country. The hospital has an active education program for patients, family, practitioners and community organization on control and early detection.
