February 4th is World Cancer Day, a day to raise awareness, for a disease that affects 28 million people worldwide and cause 8 million deaths eacy year, one thir of which could have been prevented. On February 4th we are focusing on how we can reduce stigma, improve access to care and prevent the unnecessary suffering from cancer. Drop by our Community's event held during this year's Barrie Winterfest Weekend. Share your cancer story. Watch & share LIVESTRONG's videos about the global cancer burden. Volunteer with a local cancer care & support services.

Whatever you do on February 4th to observe World Cancer Day remember the 28 million affected by cancer, those fighting and those we have lost.
