• A series of educational seminars on cervical cancer prevention methods for the medical staff of the municipal and private clinics of major cities of Kazakhstan will be held during the week of January 23-29, 2011.
• General educational materials about the problem of cervical cancer will be distributed in the major shopping and entertainment centres of Almaty and other cities in Kazakhstan.
• Informational campaign will also include TV, radio and poster announcements encouraging women to take part in the national screening programme.
• Free examination, including Pap testing and distribution of educational materials will be offered in the municipal clinics of Almaty and specialised cancer clinics on 28th and 29th of January.

• The Pearl of Wisdom pins will be distributed among the representatives of the Government, the Parliament, administrations of medical institutions, journalists and the general public during the Prevention Week.
• By February 4th, 2011, the Social Fund „Together Against Cancer‟ and the Almaty Cancer Hospital will organise a free nation-wide cervical cancer prevention telephone hotline (preliminary number +7 7272 932545), as well as a consulting and vaccination room.
