Please find below a list of a summary of the ICA's events and press clippings from the campaign.

A few days before WCD, after recruiting the health ministry, ICA held a joint press conference, featuring the health minister, Yaacov Lizman, the Director General of the ministry of health, Dr. Roni Gamzo, and Miri Ziv, ICA CEO - in which all leading media chanels in Israel participated.

The ICA published a report based on the UICC press kit, combined with Israeli data. The health ministry published a report displaying the Israeli data about the risk of being diagnosed with cancer during ones life time.

Furthermore, the ICA has introduced the UICC's declaration and its targets through the press, the ICA website, at different conferences, in Knesset – Israeli parliament - discussions etc. In the last 2 weeks ICA have already compiled more than 1,000 signatures to be sent to UICC, their aim is to gather at least 10,000 Israelis signatures.

In order to draw people to sign the declaration we issued a web banner, which is displayed on ICA home page (http://www.cancer.org.il/default.aspx): a check appears, on 1 million shekels, but the signature is missing. Then a pen writes: only your signature is missing, and the message is: sign the declaration that will make world leaders invest more resources to cancer.
