UICC will once again honour outstanding individuals, organizations, and politicians whose contributions have impacted the fight against cancer.

Award categories

Three separate awards will be presented under the following categories:

1. Award for outstanding volunteer: awarded to an individual who has demonstrated excellence in fighting cancer in or beyond his/her discipline and who has strong links to UICC. 
2. Award for outstanding UICC member organization: awarded to a UICC member cancer organization that has demonstrated excellence in cancer control in and beyond its borders.
3. Award for outstanding government official: awarded to an elected or appointed government official whose support for national cancer control efforts has significantly raised health standards for his or her country.
