Reeve, Ramirez, Patterson Cancer Foundation will be having the HATS ON! for Cancer Kids Fundraiser Day Event during February 4th and February 15th.
Students, administrators, and school staff will be able to wear a hat to commemorate children battling cancer and lose their hair to chemotherapy. RRP Cancer Foundation's focus is for everyone to be active advocates towards the fight against children's cancer. This particular fundraiser involves students to care and be compassionate with children battling cancer and lose their hair to chemo. I am a cancer survivor twice and know how devastating it is to lose one's hair.
RRP Cancer Foundation has been trying to bring an awareness of Childhood Cancers in the the community and schools. We continue to reach out to children from kinder thru the university level to Stand Up to Childhood Cancer. This past September, the foundation had its first HATS ON! for Cancer Kids Fundraiser Event for women. It was a great success. The word is spreading to support this cause which is underfunded for childhood cancer research.
