HATS ON! for Cancer Kids Fundraiser Day Event
The Reeve, Ramirez, Patterson Cancer Foundation has had schools from elementary through to high school participate in a fundraising event that benefits children diagnosed with cancer.
Students will wear a hat for a day in school to commemorate children battling cancer and have lost their hair to chemotherapy and choose to wear a hat. Students will learn compassion towards children that are battling this disease and support them by being involved with this fundraising event.
The cancer foundation just had their first HATS ON! for Cancer Kids Event involving adults. It was a great success. The cancer foundation is trying to bring childhood cancer awareness to the community and the schools.
