Global Cancer Advocacy Training- March 28-29, 2015 Boston, USA

The American Cancer Society’s Global Scholars Program, in collaboration with the Young Professionals Chronic Disease Network (YP-CDN) and the Harvard Global Equity Initiative (HGEI), is excited to host a cancer advocacy training workshop at Harvard University on March 28-29, 2015.

The American Cancer Society’s Global Scholars Program, in collaboration with the Young Professionals Chronic Disease Network (YP-CDN) and the Harvard Global Equity Initiative (HGEI), is excited to host a cancer advocacy training workshop at Harvard University on March 28-29, 2015, alongside the 6th annual conference of the Consortium of Universities for Global Health (CUGH). 

This intensive two-day training program will target and empower up to 25 motivated young professionals to lead effective advocacy campaigns that will win real improvements in the lives of people living with cancer in underserved communities.

Participants from across the globe will be selected to take part in an exciting advocacy and community organizing training with the American Cancer Society, as well as a full-day YP-CDN orientation and leadership workshop with the theme of expanding global access to essential cancer medicines and treatment. Join us to develop your advocacy and leadership skills, network with like-minded young leaders and potential mentors, and contribute to the global cancer control movement!
