• Cervical Cancer Prevention Week in Germany is going to be marked with the presentation of a Pearl of Wisdom Award to the Wolfsburg HPV Screening Programme in recognition of the efforts of Prof K.U. Petry and his colleagues who were responsible for its implementation.

• A cervical cancer prevention Workshop for gynaecologists will be held in Wolfsburg to review modern methods for cervical cancer prevention based on organised cervical screening together with the vaccination.
• Lectures and seminars will be organized for the general public on different aspects of cervical cancer prevention screening and HPV vaccination and will be held in Tuebingen, Heidelberg, Mainz and Berlin.
