Closing the Cancer Divide: A Blueprint to Expand Access to Low- and Middle -Income Countries

On October 28th, 2011, the GTF.CCC is holding an international conference in Boston at Harvard University.

The goals of the conference will be to launch the GTF.CCC report and present its findings, to develop a road-map for action on cancer care and control, and to implement report recommendations through multi-stakeholder engagement. This event will be particularly timely as it follows the strategies from the UN High-level Meeting on Prevention and Control of Non-communicable Diseases (September 19-20, 2011). Click here to download and read the report.

Based on the GTF.CCC report and its findings, UICC has worked with GTF.CCC to produce a set of co-branded factsheets on key cancer issues including cancer registries, primary health care, and the continuum of care for cancer (availalble to download below).  These factsheets also form part of the wider series developed for UICC's advocacy toolkit for the UN Summit on Non-communicable diseases (NCDs).
