FUN & LEARN workshop for the childhood cancer patients

On World Cancer Day, 4th Feb 2012, Ugam in association with J J College of Arts has organised a FUN & LEARN workshop for the childhood cancer patients of Tata Memorial Hospital.Ugam is a voluntary support group which has been formed by Childhood Cancer Survivors from the After Completion of Therapy ( ACT)clinic of Tata Memorial Hospital & is the youngest unit of the oldest & most prominent NGO, Indian Cancer Society ( ICS) under its survivorship programme.UGAM means “To Rise”, underscoring the determination of childhood cancer survivors, to rise above all obstacles in life & be VICTORS.UGAM has been set up with an aim to provide a helping hand to the survivors of childhood cancers & become the ambassador of the message “Childhood Cancer is Curable” in society
