Carcinogenesis and Cancer Prevention: International Conference in India

Dear Colleagues and Friends,
Welcome to the second international conference of the Carcinogenesis Foundation (USA), being organized in India in collaboration with Dayananda Sagar Institutions, Bangalore, India, from February 16-18, 2011.

An in-depth knowledge of the genesis at the cellular and molecular level is critical for developing global strategies for prevention, control and treatment of cancers. Significant progress has been made in cancer research in the past decade and an international conference that creates an opportunity for the researchers to critically analyze the progress made and challenges ahead is very timely and important.

This international conference will bring together clinicians and research scientists in the fields related to cancer to discuss, deliberate and celebrate the progress made in the field during the first decade of the new millennium. This conference also provides an opportunity to disseminate information on the major breakthroughs to the general public.

Bangalore is a major hub for several academic institutions, hospitals and biotechnology industries. The city’s name is synonymous to IT industry and is known as the Silicon valley of India. The city and the state of Karnataka, offer a unique opportunity to tourists to enjoy nature.

We hope you will join us at the conference. For more information on the conference and to learn about potential opportunities to present your research at the conference, please write to conference2011@carcinogenesis.net. We look forward to seeing you in Bangalore.
