How to apply
- Read here about who can apply for UICC fellowships to decide which fellowship best suits you.
- Consult our guidelines and conditions for the chosen fellowship before completing the online application form.
- Once your application is 100% complete you will receive an email confirming receipt of the application.
- You will be contacted once your application has been perused by UICC with either requests for more information or to inform you that your application has now been registered and is out for review.
- Once your application has been reviewed, you will be informed of a funding decision. Please note that a funding decision is within about 60 days of receipt at UICC of a complete application, subject to possible review delays.
- You may only apply for one fellowship at a time.
Competitive selection
Fellows are chosen through competitive selective which is conducted by an international panel of experts based on:
- The scientific evaluation of the project
- The experience and qualifications of the candidate
- The suitability of the host organization and host supervisor
- Appropriate duration
- A telephone interview with the candidate (ACSBI only)
- The availability of appropriate facilities and resources to apply and disseminate the acquired skills upon return to the home organization.
