CCI Individual Fellowships
Within the CCI Individual Fellowship scheme and through a competitive application process that is open for proposals all year, UICC financially supports individual training of fellows at an agreed host institution for up to three months.
This is reliant upon the requirement that the training must contribute to a specific project at the host site and be disseminated in the country.

Objectives |
To facilitate rapid international transfer of cancer research and clinical technology. To acquire appropriate programme/project management, clinical management, diagnostic and therapeutic expertise for effective application and use in the home organization upon the Fellow’s return. |
Eligibility |
Appropriately qualified investigators, pathologists, epidemiologists, laboratory technicians, oncology nurses, midwives, community workers, cancer registrars; appropriately qualified clinicians who are established in oncology practice |

Selection |
By an international panel of experts based on: course programme and duration; relevance to World Cancer Declaration targets ; qualification of faculty members; profile of participants; course facilities; possibility to disseminate acquired knowledge. |

Generally within 60 days of registration of the completed application. |

Fellow identify their host institution. |
