Preventing Antimicrobial Resistance in KazNU

The event was held with invited speakers and focused on the theme ’Prevent Antimicrobial Resistance Together’, engaging students in discussions as part of the global initiative to raise awareness about antimicrobial resistance.

The student report:

1. “Retrospective study of E.Coli resistance to antibiotics in patients with infectious diseases on the example of Almaty” was made by 3rd year student Zaina Al Tamimi.
2. “Antibiotic Resistance of Acinetobacter baumannii: A Study in Almaty” was made by 3rd year student Bakhtawar Ratib

Students held a lively discussion on the topic of the presented reports on scientific research conducted by 3rd year students Zaina Al Tamimi ‘Retrospective study of E.Coli resistance to antibiotics in patients with infectious diseases on the example of Almaty’ and Bakhtavar Ratib ‘Antibiotic Resistance of Acinetobacter baumannii: A Study in Almaty’. Some students expressed a desire to continue working on the prevention of antibiotic resistance under the leadership of Dr. Seitalieva as part of her educational activities.
