Event Topic: Workforce/Workplace Issues and Strategies for Success.
Learning Objectives: In this presentation, key aspects of nurse workforces globally will be reviewed, as well as the major challenges facing these two countries, both in general and in terms of specialist and advanced practice clinicians, including demographic trends, technological change, economic crises and workforce shortages destined to worsen in the coming years. Nursing management and policy implications and strategies will also be discussed.
