CDC AMR Exchange Webinar: Impacts of Antimicrobial Resistance on Cancer Care

On Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at 10 a.m. EDT, CDC is hosting its next AMR Exchange on the impacts of antimicrobial resistance on cancer care.

CDC's AMR Exchange webinars are part of a global webinar series that CDC launched in May 2021 to engage a broad group of partners, practitioners, and policymakers on antimicrobial resistance.

Antimicrobial resistance can be a major obstacle for cancer care and cancer survival. People receiving cancer treatment are at a higher risk for infections and the growing global public health threat of antimicrobial resistance can make infections harder – if not impossible – to treat. Strengthening infection prevention efforts and combating antimicrobial resistance must be core components of cancer care. Register today to learn how CDC and partners are implementing this work.
