The scientific program will focus on “hand and wrist” disorders as a 2-day refresher course and will cover many aspects of this interesting topic. Six additional special focus sessions have been planned, many of them as activities of the various ESSR subcommittees. A new session to be introduced in 2012 will be on Peripheral Nerve Imaging, a topic getting more and more of interest for the radiological community and referring clinicians.

The popular “hands-on” workshops in musculoskeletal ultrasound at basic and advanced level, will take place on Thursday, June 28, during the afternoon. This year’s topic will be “Ultrasound of the hand and wrist”.
