The Regional Committee of Noncommunicable Diseases Department of Santa Cruz, Bolivia, comprising different public and private institutions in the health sector and related non-governmental organizations and patient groups to support people living with an NCD, is organizing an educational activity on Saturday, Feb 4 in the auditorium of the Medical College, which is next to the Oncology Hospital of Eastern Bolivia. Educational conferences are aimed at patients, families and the general public, which shall be divided into two auditoriums, one with the theme of childhood cancer and one with the issue of cancer in adults, with interactive conferences. The lecturers or exhibitors will be different health professionals addressing issues of cancer health prevention, diagnosis and management of different types of cancer, with a scientific and holistic approach.
