The Bahrain Cancer Society (BCS) is committed to educate as many people as possible, as early as possible, about the risk factors & symptoms for colon Cancer, and for people to get screened when it is appropriate to them.

BCS will initiate an intensive two week awareness program starting 20th February 2011, which will be held at one of the busiest shopping malls demonstrating the Inflatable Colon Model (COCO), distributing of pamphlets and Media coverage and posters.

Because it’s possible to have colon cancer without experiencing any symptoms, everyone should be screened after age 50. Colon cancer is preventable, treatable, and beatable if detected early.
