A joint publication of UICC and Cancer Council Victoria, this report is based on surveys conducted in 2007 of over 40,000 people in 39 countries.

It provides the first internationally comparable data of people's beliefs about

  • Screening
  • Diagnosis and
  • Behaviours that increase cancer risk, such as smoking, drinking and being overweight.
