Under the UICC grant awarded to us we did the TRAIN THE TRAINEE:Cancer prevention and screening services and paramedical consensus in people activation at Thar desert of India.
This program was done at rural area where there is sceracity of water, electricity and education. Most of the patients are very poor. Health worker has not aware of the disease Cancer. They are very ignorant about this disease. WE have distributed booklet on cancer education in local language and a workshop was organized. after this workshop the attended a questionnarie and responded very nicely.
They will be given SMS services to educate for this disease and they have well accepted this idea
