Since 1972, the Association has worked with various partners in support of programs against the cancer under the slogan: "detected in time, the cancer can be cured". Throughout these 40 years the Association has been generated and managed support mechanisms for the prevention, care and cancer research in Mexico; also has worked to become an organization that helps significantly to reduce the rates of mortality and morbidity from cancer among the Mexican population, seeking a rapprochement with the other civil society organizations working in this area.
Likewise, the Association presides over and it is a founding member of the Red Contra el Cáncer (http://www.redcontraelcancer.org.mx/), agency where are grouped 41 associations that fight against cancer in Mexico.
40 Years is a long journey for the AMLCC and the people who are part of it, that is why could not pass unnoticed the date and we will make this concert, and are invited all those who at some time had been and are still part of this wonderful project.
