The Open Medical Club in collaboration with Armenian Young Women Association has planned for public awareness campaign to coincide with the world cancer day. The campaign activities will consist of the following:
1. In the frame of UICC theme “CANCER CAN BE PREVENTED”, on 4th of February, we will initiate Breast Screening Awareness Campaign: It will be around the importance of Screening & early detection of Breast Cancer which is taking place at 2 different health centers, for all women above 40years of age. The “Breast Self Examination Manual for all Women” educational kits will be distributed to women and peer to peer advocates.
2. In the same time we will emphasize the importance of Screening & Early Detection of Cervical Cancer in Armenia.
