AORTIC will host its 8th International Cancer Conference in Cairo, Egypt from 30 November – 3 December 2011. Topics covered in AORTIC’s 8th conference will be around cutting edge cancer management and basic science and clinical research of cancers relevant to Africa. This includes the following:

Dear Colleagues
We are aware of the recent events in Egypt and are monitoring developments closely. We are in regular contact with our organisers in Cairo who are keeping us abreast of the situation on the ground. By all indications life has returned back to normal and the situation has stabilized.

With this in mind, please be informed that at this stage the AORTIC 2011 conference will still be held in Cairo, Egypt. However we will continue to monitor the situation closely and should there be any change you will be notified timeously.

We would like to stress that the AORTIC 2011 Conference will go ahead as planned in Cairo, Egypt.
