On 4 Feb.2011, the Japan National Committee for UICC and three members of UICC (Japan Cancer Society, Hokkaido Cancer Society, Sapporo Cancer Seminar Foundation) will jointly hold a World Cancer Day Seminar (Symposium) open for public in Sapporo, JAPAN.

The title of the Seminar(Symposium) will be “Cancer can be prevented—World and Japan” (Please find the attached flyer of the Seminar).

The content of the Seminar include “UICC strategy on cancer prevention” “Tobacco control, World and Japan” HPV vaccine, World and Japan” “Cancer education for children” etc.

Same time, on the occasion of WCD Seminar, We will work on and appeal to Mass-media on WCD, UICC activities.

Japan National Committee for UICC is composed of around 30 Japanese UICC members.
